ROAD TRIP! I received an e-mail from Jordan today proposing that we get another road trip together. In 2004 we took a trip from Knoxville, TN -> San Diego, CA. We had so much fun and every time we talk conversation always leads back to this trip. Now that we are both husbands, living in Atlanta and Colorado Springs, and he is also a father to a new born we have a bit more responsibility on our plates. If this trip happens we will attempt to travel from Maine to Florida next Spring. I would be interested to know what you think would be worth seeing if we make this trip…

old and he is growing faster than I could have ever imagined. Since Jill and I live in Atlanta and the family is back in Tennessee we don’t get to see Brenton but about once a month. We had not seen him since Christmas until this weekend and he is standing (with assistance from whatever he can pull up on) and crawling like there is no tomorrow. We had a great time seeing him along with the other family and friends that we were fortunate enough to catch up with this past weekend. Thanks to all those who love and are an encouragement to us!

beside the Hollywood sign in L.A. what would you do with it. A 138 acre piece of land just West of the H in the Hollywood sign is available. Word is…it’s up for $22 mill. What would you do with this plot of land?

park. Often times I park in the same space day after day and if not in the same space on the same level of the parking garage. Earlier this week I left work around 7 and when I went to get into the car I could not find it. My first reaction was…”did someone steal that thing!” After a reality check it would be more trouble than it is worth to steal my car. I love my car (a 97 Eclipse that I have had since my senior year in high school that my grandparents allowed me to pick out for graduation) but I don’t think that someone is going to go through the trouble to steal it. Sure enough I had parked one level down in the garage b/c we had an event going on at Buckhead Church earlier that morning. I wish I had a video of my face trying to figure where that thing was.

i have noticed an interesting phenomenon the past few times I have traveled. It seems like people have a obsession with trying to have the Longest…moving contraption on the road. Semi-trucks aside I have seen some pretty elaborate vehicles on the interstate. I have seen contraptions with bikes on a bike rack on the back of a trailer connected to a motor home. Where do these people park? I really believe that I could put everything I own in this thing below. I know these things are justified (at least in our American minds) but I just find things like this amusing.
