No. 1…
February 25, 2008at last! The Tennessee men’s basketball program has been overshadowed by their football team as well as the Lady Vols for decades but that has been changing over the past couple of years. A huge stride was made on Saturday night when #2 Tennessee faced #1 Memphis on the west end of the state. Tennessee came away with a victory and secured a #1 ranking. Who know how long it will last…but I am going to enjoy it while it does! Go VOLS!!!

Speed Scrabble…
January 21, 2008is definitely not my strong suit. The Patterson’s were in town this weekend and they are Scrabble master minds. They brought a new version of Scrabble down with them from Knoxville and it was no better for me than the original. If you have read this blog much at all you have probably noticed that I am not a good speller and one of my other weaknesses in speed. I can…could run fast but that is where speed and I part ways. Thus, when I am involved in a game that requires both of these skills it usually turns out with a lot of laughs at my inability. I believe the final score was Jason 339, Ange 330, Jill 330…..Andy 28. I not very fast but I do know that we were not playing golf. If you have not played this game yet you should try it…you will have a blast. You play with the tiles from Scrabble but no board is needed. To bad I am not better…Oh well, I guess you can’t win everything!
