be snowed in at work or at home?

uncomfortable? One of the things in life that makes me uncomfortable is when I pull up to a fancy hotel or restaurant (which rarely happens) and someone wants me to give them money to drive my car or carry my bags. If I can do it myself why should I pay someone to do it for me? What makes you uncomfortable?

at a hospital is unbelievable…until you pull up to the booth to pay…then you know that these people are not playing around. I have diabetes so I visit the hospital every 3 or 4 months to see my endocrinologist. Today I was there for about an hour and 15 minutes and it cost me $5 dollars to park. While this adds up to $15-20 a year I feel sorry for the staff of the hospital who most likely have to pay to park where they work. Now they may get a discount or a free pass but I know that is not always the case. It would be like me charging the staff and the members of the church to park in our garage. While this may be profitable how does something that seems to make no sense work? Just another interesting fact…to valet park costs $7 at the same hospital.

me now? I saw this antenna over Christmas break and was wondering who this person is trying to communicate with…
shoes were the coolest things when I was growing up! I don’t know the exact number of these shoes that I had but it is safe to say that my grandmother spoiled me with several pairs of these things. I saw an article that the 23rd edition of Jordan’s are coming out towards the end of January and that these might be the last pair. Obviously Nike is not going to commit to that but it would be cool to stop with #23 because that is the famed number of Jordan. If they decide to continue the line the next stopping point would be #45…

is a nasal passage cleaner. Apparently this is all the rage. I have never tried one of these things, and am not encouraging you to do so, but I did something similar when I was a kid. When my nose became stuffy I would go into the bathroom and turn on the faucet. I would cup my hand under the stream of water and fill it up. Then I would “carefully” sniff the water up into my sinuses. This is probably not safe but I was a kid and just wanted to breath through my nose. After a few minutes the water would loosen up the junk in my nose and sinuses and I could blow it out. Why did I not patten something like this and make millions of dollars?
