ATM etiquette? I live very close to several banks so I have the opportunity to observe people while they sit or stand in line at the ATM. I have always been amused to watch people in this situation. It seems as if there are three basic rules to abide by while waiting in line at an ATM.
1. The closest individual to the person interacting with the ATM must stand 5-10 feet away.
2. No eye contact, gestures, or conversation should be made while within 25 feet of the ATM.
3. Leave your ski mask in the back seat.

have learned how to open doors. I woke up early on Sunday morning (4:00 am) to the sound of our cats meowing at our bedroom door. We put them in the guest bedroom and bathroom at night so that we can sleep. We did just the same on Saturday night and several hours later they woke me up meowing. I quickly woke Jill up and told her that the cats had somehow gotten out of their room. Her motherly instinct kicked in and she bypassed all questions. She got out of bed, wrangled up the two hairballs, and put them back in their room. What has your pet(s) done in the past that has surprised you?

by Jeff Henderson in our staff meeting on Wednesday that we should be praying and expecting God to do big things with our lives! I often get excited about possibilities in my future but I let life steal that joy. What are you praying for that is so big that if God does not come through it will fail?

day of school, Kindergarten style, comes with a sweeeeet cake made by my beautiful wife. I wish I had a Kindergarten teacher this creative and hot. Mrs. Gattis just didn’t compare! Sorry no picture on file. Just know that Jill is one of the most talented and creative Kindergarten teachers around. I cannot wait until we have kids of our own that she can pour her passion for learning into. I love you Babe! Thanks for being exactly what God has created you to be!

Albright for the new header. We are still tweaking it some but Jo you did an awesome job. Thanks so much for your help on this. Jo and I work together at Buckhead Church and he is also attending school to do this type of work you see above. I love people who can do this type of stuff.
is definitely not my strong suit. The Patterson’s were in town this weekend and they are Scrabble master minds. They brought a new version of Scrabble down with them from Knoxville and it was no better for me than the original. If you have read this blog much at all you have probably noticed that I am not a good speller and one of my other weaknesses in speed. I can…could run fast but that is where speed and I part ways. Thus, when I am involved in a game that requires both of these skills it usually turns out with a lot of laughs at my inability. I believe the final score was Jason 339, Ange 330, Jill 330…..Andy 28. I not very fast but I do know that we were not playing golf. If you have not played this game yet you should try it…you will have a blast. You play with the tiles from Scrabble but no board is needed. To bad I am not better…Oh well, I guess you can’t win everything!
